The previous owner rehabbed the property so other than turning over tenants nothing major needed so far (fingers crossed) What was the outcome?

Fingers crossed...

I ended up making an offer on a multifamily today -finance deal so fingers crossed that my offer is accepted and the full inspection goes smoothly.  

But I didn't just put my finger to the wind and say a prayer.

Specifically I am having a hard time figuring out the background check and finger printing I need in order to submit my application.

I glanced at the list and realized my scrolling finger should get ready to rumble.
