The lease is fairly general, it simply states that they should not do anything other than routine maintenance like light bulbs, furnace filter, etc.

They routinely turned off pool equipment against the lease, they secured the yards irrigation system (we just had the entire front yard done right before they moved in), 3 foot tall weeds in the front yard, and let brown widows infest the back yard.

My sister told his wife that she was uncomfortable the situation, and the wife laughed it off and called him "silly".Otherwise they're pretty good tenants.

No tough guy routine......just amazed that someone with a real estate license, trying to wholesale properties, doesn't realize the bank has to be paid off with proceeds from the sale when the owner sells it.

I even know people who get trickles of water that come in through the clay blocks and then down the drain.I even know people that get a couple inches of water in their basements at least once every couple years, and its almost like they just treat it as a normal routine of clean up and then end up filling the space back up with furniture as though it'll never happen again .But i think the trend is startinv to change alot and basements are starting to become a more used space for beyond just storing stuff.
