To add to my previous comment, we often do a LinkedIn search to see if our guests have a profile. 

My advice is to keep searching, see the whole gameboard, and let the financials be your guide to great opportunities!

It's happening now after some slow downs (we all experienced) with first covid, then interest rates and inflation. 

Most owners of short-term rentals on the islands and the nearby areas have been dealing with the triple whammy of a slowing economy effecting rental revenue this year, higher insurances and higher property taxes.

Searching to see if any lenders are doing a cash-out with no seasoning period. 

I searched for turnover answers but some of the posts were either old, or did not have exactly what I was looking for.

if you pick a random property in Akron (i was just there, randomly) that you haven't seen, that's listed on Zillow, and turn it over to people you haven't met to manage, it is nearly guaranteed that you will lose money.if you're serious about this, i would recommend that you go there in person, meet agents in person, build a network in person, and conduct your property search in person.and if you can't go there in person - i wouldn't give up on Oregon. i know, i know, you're going to tell me it's 'too expensive.' and so yes, it's difficult.
