I have examined this issue to no end over the past 3-4 years and honestly having an LLC does nothing to keep you from getting named personally in a lawsuit, so why do through all the effort and hassle for what essentially is futile?

Depending on his net worth, it may honestly even make sense to hire a team to examine his situation.

But I find it ludicrous the people on this forum who remote manage 700 miles away and are angry at a town for having the nerve to zone and legislate about their STRs.

I would like you to examine your fears, find out if they are valid, and then act accordingly.

I finished my classes and passed the exam in less than a month lol not that I recommend this (I have a background in real estate to begin with) but it's relatively easy to do even with a full time job so dont be discouraged.
