It's not uncommon for Class A rentals to negative cashflow for the first 3-5 years, until rents increase at a higher rate than taxes & insurance increase.While this can be an unpleasant situation, Class A properties tend to appreciate the most and attract the best/easiest tenants.

Since you’ll be living there, it’s more like managing a roommate or tenant situation.

Any thoughts on which way to go because we don't need the break in alarm but we definitely want video cameras to try and encourage the people doing rotten things to stay away.  

Is this a situation where you need to BRRRR them for them to work or am I missing something?
