We could also mention the fact that some brokers discourage buyers or hide listings if they can't double-end the commission.Simple solution - Ask for a co-op (more) and NON-co-op fee (less).

@Michael ClineYou could try another lender, but unless you have multiple properties generating you income, or a co-signer maybe, it will be a challenge to find a conventional financing institution who will take on the risk.

@Vik C.Its a co-op with likely maintenance and an additional fee to rent it out.This will likely not make a good investment.You are likely also eligible for the 121 exclusion if you live and owned the house for 2 out of the last 5 years.
