An additional risk factor is the interest rate, it's possible that the loan you inherit has a rate higher than today's prevailing rate, in which case you have to make up the hit with a lower price (or maybe it's below market!).

The block walls were starting to push in so in 2001 the seller had a company put an Anchoring system to hold the foundation (looks somewhat like a factory in the basement with the screws and plates sticking out of the walls).
