I have considered putting it on my rentals, but knowing that they do lose their effectiveness over time, you have expenses in taking them on and off when you have to do a roof replacement and that it gets tricky to market how much electric you are including with the property....the hassle is not worth it in my opinion.Your comment about the tax benefits is also 100% wrong.

I liked using them because it was a good combination of time I had to invest in my VR with what they do and saves the other 8-10% in revenue from a full turnkey provider.They are not doing anything 'magical' however, they simply list your home on VRBO/HA/Airbnb/Flipkey/TripAdvisor and they handle all the intake.

I once had something similar and that turned out to be a blockage on the air intake, windy day where a plastic grocery bag got sucked into the intake pipe just enough to completely block the pipe opening outdoors.
