Do a HELOC on it and then take the money and buy another investment property in New York or or a landlord friendly state or a place you'd like to travel often and then use it as an AIRBNB the remaining time.

I've decided, starting off, that I'd like to try renting apartments in my current market (Jacksonville, Florida) then furnishing them and offering them to traveling professionals on AirBNB and/or furnished finder. 

There is time to travel and view properties and interview people.

I was thinking of doing MTR in Madison, since I think there should be a demand for travel nurses and students,but I don't understand how does the numbers work so the houses are so expensive.Would love to chat with more experiences investors. 

Investing further away factor in your travel time and time spent away from home. 

I've considered doing MTR to travel nurses with the other rooms (would need to furnish the bedrooms). 

Instead I choose to travel most months (came back from NZ this morning) while obtaining good RE returns.
