I have pieced together a fair amount of information from REIA meetings and dinner discussions, but I think I mostly know enough to be dangerous.

(no focus on national speakers)- Monthly meetings, likely on a week-night- Will be more than just "hanging out for dinner"....will have an agenda, and will progress through misc. segments so as to make sure there's value for both experienced investors as well as the new investors. 

Also keep track of business expenses (office supplies, client dinners, clothing, etc). 

Once everyone is setup it's less work but it's not passive.Real Estate Investment Trusts like some of the ones described above will provide income but not give you street cred as most people at dinner parties wont understand what your doing.- Define your goals ( if you want to make 100k per year on 600k invested it's going to be work. )- Do you want to be a producer or a consumer? 

I dress up for weddings , funerals , and to go out to dinner   ( sometimes) .  

It would be worth it to buy him lunch or dinner and find out how he does it.

This was something I joked about at the dinner table, with kids doing zooms and my wife working from home. 

All of it put together would barely buy you a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant😂 

You see it going out to dinner, at the gas pump, in the grocery store, or have you even looked at vehicle prices lately?
