Finding a mentor is the BEST way to learn about REI hands on and get seem experience under your belt.

We kept it simple by purchasing an umbrella policy to cover all of our properties and then think about LLC after we have a few more properties under our belt.

@Douglass Belt,I'm pretty sure we have Landlord policies for our rentals, and our annual premiums are much less than $1000/year for each of our two family houses in Madison (but more than $494).

The 'meet' feature is awesome, I really would like to meet up with local REI so that I can make better decisions by bouncing ideas off people familiar with my area and with more experience under their belt.
