That way if tenants decide they do want curtains they are not standing on wobbly chairs nailing holes in your walls or the window frames because they don't have the common sense to purchase their own rods.I have, in the past, even used curtains when showing a house; I usually get these from the local Family Dollar, Dollar General, General Dollar, etc..

As I recall way back in my graduate rental days (in Southern Illinois) most rental properties to students were a wreck because 1. they were cheap housing to poor students and 2. students did their best to help wreck them.I remember a fellow I barely knew (proudly) commenting that he and his roommates final "goodbye" before exiting their furnished apartment was to drink a six pack of beer and then urinate on the mattresses and couch and easy chair.

I have been following this trend from the first time I went skiing at whistler in 1985 and rode up the chair lift with a young couple who said the hong kong Chinese were causing prices to go up and they were going to wait for the prices to come down..
