I’d just ask to get a referral from their recruiter instead or There’s a lot of business that you’ll be missing out on.

I had to not only list and promote but I had to protect the equity during the negotiations with the prospect buyers, coordinate the move out with the tenant, who was previous property manager and was exercising all her rights which tend to make the situation less than ideal for sellers/landlords.

Cold calling building owners, mailer campaigns, text campaigns, online community groups, lender referrals, live auctions. 

People market in different ways, but the truth of the matter is, we are almost all on referral basis (of course after an initial marketing period).
