Looking for CPA in Los Angeles Area

It's almost that time of the year again ... TAX TIME !!

After using my current CPA for many years he finally retired last year. 

He was a CPA working for himself, No big fancy offices etc. I really likes his personal approach and he was available via email and phone to answer questions and give some advice...

So .. I am looking to add a CPA to my team and have no idea where to start. 

I am looking for someone who has real estate experience and insights that might help me going forward with my current and new business opportunities ... 

What kind of rates can I expect? I have been paying someone a flat fee to file our taxes for years. I also would like to sit down with the person so local is preferred.

I am now listening to Podcast 049 with Amanda Han, she seems great.. Not sure how affordable she is :-)

Living just outside Culver City I would like to see if there are some recommended CPA's more locally. Don't mind driving but maybe there is a closer good alt.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the responses and no worries about jacking threads :-)

Hopefully we get some responses that might all help us.

I have gotten a few more contact via friends / business associates. I'm trying to get a ew interviews with them maybe next week.

I Will post my results here so maybe some1 else can get something out of it..
