We are young and not so young, heavy, skinny, every ethnic makeup, men, women, highly educated and not so much, but all of us are interested in REI and nobody cares what you look like, just that we can see you, and know you if we were to run across you someplace.

If you go into flipping with the mindset of an upscale decorator, you may find yourself losing money instead of making it.For whatever reason, it seems that women are more likely to fall into this trap.

She is a wonderful business women, great wife, and an even better mother!!!!!

I've made some investments so far (401 (k), Roth, stocks, life insurance..) but it's time that I start investing in what I've always wanted to...Real Estate.I plan on spending the next few months delving into BiggerPockets...articles, forums, blogs etc...I want to start with an owner-occupied multi-family, and branch out from there.At this point I'm looking for any advice from the mavericks, the men/women who have been in my shoes at one point or another....Any and all advice would be appreciated.Thanks, heaps!

closets.....women always look at them & ponder the space for the 300 pairs of shoes they need.so we strip them to barely full to make it look 'LARGER' & no clutter on the floor or shelving above.In the last SFH we added a large sealed cedar closet for the off season clothing in the basement.

(It’s a steep learning curve)I’ve been thinking of ways to empower her to become more of a 50/50 partner.

It is nice to have a place to come and learn from like minded men and women.

Quick background, the house is in an estate and there is no paperwork showing that the women who called me is the heir, father and uncle were the owners.

From my research it is going to be much easier to self-manage when you have 2-4 because you have more "cleaning" fees to work with to entice a cleaning women to be prompt.
