If they are deeded separately (ie. each side could be sold separately) then generally you will need two policies, a homeowners for your side and a Dwelling Fire (aka Landlords policy) for the other side.

What I found helpful was that it was flexible since the whole course was pre-recorded videos with printed materials to go with it.

Paying someone 10k for what you can find out for free is never going to be worth it.There are books, BP forums, free podcasts and you tube videos on almost any subject.
