With most older people they at some point become a danger to both themselves and others in regards to stove and fire issues.I would tell the family that you will either terminate or she will need to provide a letter from her doctor confirming her competency to live alone.

So you are essentially bringing on GC as a partner, just like you could be bringing on a doctor, a lawyer as a partner.

These 2 town have great schools and it's basically where all the doctors, lawyers, managers etc live at around here.  

Under HIPAA laws you arent even allowed to know if a tenant is smoking medical marijuana (think doctor-patient confidentiality). 

UMED is great due to location and quality of renter (nurse, doctor, student, etc.).
