If he decides to stay with it and for whatever reason you are not renting the rooms as you intended, that also becomes a nightmare because now you will both be chipping in to cover the payment.

The house is about 100 years old and the wood siding is starting to show its age.I spent two days chipping and painting two sides cause I got cited from the city of Lakewood.Its hard for me to spend that much money which wont raise the rent of a tenant at all.The wood siding is in relatively good condition aside from a couple pieces.

Homes that are prior to 1978 most likely have lead paint. use a disclosure when the unit is available for renting, also make sure there is no peeling or chipping paint I also painted all my units prior to renting.
