Many of the Penny Saver type magazines do their own mailing and bulk mailing services and are more affordable. 

Also, Canadian Real Estate Wealth Magazine does a 100 Top Neighbourhoods every year.  

I was fortunate enough to be featured in Canadian Real Estate Magazine twice (if anyone is interested I could share the articles).

You are right, In October of 2009 Money Magazine dedicated the entire issue to retirement (I still have it...) it was titled "4 steps to a great retirement" It listed Stocks, Finances, Social Security and Income (Strangely enough, not a word on real estate).

Since I posted this discussion, I've had 6 borrowers contact me from my magazine ads, website and referrals, and guess what?

I appreciate help always but ever since moving to Houston 8 years ago, it just seems the New Yorker in me hasn't and won't ever leave me.
