I also suggest putting up security cameras as if he is like the dingdong I dealt with he will try to sabatage stuff. so just point the cameras at the property line (not at his house or his property) and where ever else you feel is needed.

I still have 1 more week until the actual windows arrive, and even with security sign and fake cameras, they still broke in a second time.My question is, I'm going to install some type of home security system this week to help beef up my security, however, my concern is with a camera system, I'm not sure what's practical or what's even allowed in short term rental properties, so I want to find a system that would work well.

They covered the damage to the property, the inspection for determination of the problem including the camera scope, but once they found out it was caused by tree roots, they informed me that roots were not covered (probably because of the probability of having to dig).

Agreed & mail theft is a Federal offense as per Federal Statute Section 1702.In the past we had to post this in the mail room of a mixed use commercial with notification of a security camera.
