If you have old wooden windows, the lead inspector won't bother to take swabs, they'll simply fail you for old wooden (friction) windows.

Note: this was missed by the inspector,  likely because the problem only seems to bubble up when it rains.

During the process the town inspector will come out to make sure that framing, plumbing, electrical, etc. is done correctly.

Based off the inspector feedback I got back today I desperately need a plumber for tomorrow when I walk the property and before everyone leaves for the holidays.

I have a good inspector I am planning to use. 

The guys had opened up the wall and put in a new beam and the city inspector came in and saw that and asked for the permit.

The cable guy, cabbie, plumber, inspector are realtors.

After the inspection, the inspector found several items that needed immediate attention like drain pipe in crawl space was disconnected from house, new AC units were needed and a few more items that the seller actually agreed to repairing before closing.

These are risks that the investor takes on when they purchase the property, and even the most thorough inspectors will miss things like this.Extras are a killer.
