Important Question: How do you manage your time and cleaning schedules efficiently for quick turnovers between guests?

(on things like flooring, cabinets, remodels, siding etc) I want to hear thoughts on going as cheap as possible, making the house look "high end" (possibly attracting higher end renters and charging more) or somewhere in the middle?

The attached images show the attic's current condition.The room in the back is insulated and and would require finished flooring, heat, & paint (62 sqft above 7 ft height). 

Thankfully the floor is in great condition.

I'm running into hangups with code section R302.3.1 which seemingly requires not only the floor separating the units to be fire rated but all the walls below supporting that floor to be fire rated (ie all exterior walls and load bearing interior walls on the first floor), which may mean extremely expensive fire rated windows at the lower unit.  

.- overall "damage" is very minor as it will involve cleaning up after her, taking out her trash, and carpet cleaning throughout ($200) to get cat puke out of carpet- odd note was that she has a huge real Christmas tree which she left....who buys a Christmas tree if they intend to leave - confirmed via talking to her mother (emergency contact on my pet agreement) that she has moved to a new rental property- I have not filed the 3 days quit or cute as I'm concerned that the terminology indicates (perhaps I'm reading to far into it)that if she leaves the lease will be terminated.

You want to trust people of course, but it only takes one bad one to cause cleaning headaches as well as unhappy neighbors.
