That said... when I sign up for propstream again, I do so knowing that they rely on data from 3rd parties, some of it's out of date, and I always double check and verify things... but it IS good for the amount of usually reliable information you can get in a short period of time... but always verify after against other sources.If it was as easy as $1500 and $97 a month like the PIN videos make it sound, then everyone would be doing it.

If your CPA personally answers his phone when you call, it means one (or more) of these things:you're one of his special most valuable clients for whom he makes an exceptionyou also happen to be his golf buddy or his investment partner or his girlfriend he is new and does not have enough clientshe is overwhelmed between projects and calls and is about to be checked into a facilityhe is a unicorn or is otherwise extinctWhat is reasonable to expect is that you should be able to reach your CPA at a prescheduled time and via an agreed upon channel: email, text, phone, video conference, whatever you guys agree on.

I feel that I've watched enough videos and I am continuing to read.

There is no wrong way to do this unless you aren't doing it at all OR you're harrassing peopleIf you find yourself attending a bunch of educational webinars, watching too many tutorial/training videos, or anything other than those 2 things, take some time to stop and reflect. 

Agree with much of what's been said, but especially the notion of choosing your investment class first AND your goals...are you looking for income?

Just weigh your options with an experienced agent, and choose what's best for you.The only thing I might suggest before you pull the trigger on complete removal of windstorm coverage altogether, is to see if you can get quotes with 3% and 5% deductible options. 

If a bank chooses to lend on the POH value it may be at less favorable terms than the land value (10 or 15 yr term versus 25 yr for example).

I have been kicking the tires on the videos and tools trying to learn. 

They want that same vibe in the home they choose.
