If a unit is empty for a bit and a new tenant is not lined up, I usually buy a dollar store toilet brush and plunger if I find a unit doesn't have one when turned over.

You can't spray an entire unit, and then try to touch up with a brush. 2 entirely different textures - the paint is likely matching, but you see different textures and the light reflects differently.
