I just had another tenant (on a 2 year lease) ask me if it's OK to have a new high end black plastic coated chain link fence professionally installed with permits at his cost so their Lab doesn't need to be on a 'stringer' anymore.

the tenants are also cool with covering the windows in plastic wrap i the middle of winter to eliminate any draft...none of these tactics did the previous owner do.

Just thought I'd ask more seasoned landlords and investors if they have any recommendations on style and material blinds that tend to hold up over time and are mostly bomb proof from tenants.I figure that plastic blinds are probably most prone to breakage.

However the tenants will also have to take every piece of cloth they own....clothes, blankets etc. and wash them, run them through a dryer a few times on the highest heat and then put them into sealed plastic bags for storage.
