With countless brokerages large and small, it is worthwhile to interview with several, both big name national companies and any boutique smaller firms in your area.Another route that many new Realtors of various brokerages take is to join a team.

@Nick Pass  This is an extremely common topic, and I highly recommend you just search the forums and read the countless existing threads rather than make another thread to add to the sea of "how do you collect rent". 

While I am not familiar with the laws in Oregon, I can give you some great advice that I have gotten on the forum (I recently posted a similar thread), and read countless times here during my research.Set your criteria and stick to it and make them known to the people beforehand to weed them out.
