Looking to possibly add Property Meld into the equation, and use a VA to help with a property coordinator.When we were in this situation, we hired a scaling company to help us grow.

Is building a new property for a house hack potentially a good idea if our goal is to continue to scale/grow our capital or should we just stick to looking at existing properties that need work and pull our money out post-renovation?

If you want the highest level of security, properly insure yourself and your investments.I don't think LLC shields are things you should put as a priority until you grow a sizable portfolio (10-15 plus with $1 million or more in equity).  

A few years ago we decided that we needed to, and should have sooner, grow.
