Call a few property management companies and compare them.Take a look at Google/Yelp reviews (sometimes bad reviews come from angry tenants.)Ask questions about finding/screening tenants, repairs, bookkeeping, etc.Ask how much experience they have.Finally, be prepared to switch after you hire one, if you don't like the company.

@Benjamin Sklar really good bookkeeping and accounting software that ties into the property management/rental side of things (i.e. have you ever tried to use the accounting in appfolio - it is not very user friendly).

Presumably annual income statements/tax returns get shared amongst all partners, would it also make sense for the agreement to mandate more granular bookkeeping (such as on a per-rental basis)?
