@Justin Butterfield this is normal in the commercial mortgage world, although you can definitely get a longer term than 5 years if you are willing to give up something on the interest or point side.

I always start a project with a written scope of work, just in case... been burnt too many times.

he says no, he just bought it on xome and it is in escrow (which means his offer is actually just in review with the bank) but he can assign his xome win... wtf
