About the only ground you can't push them into is frozen ground.If you do use poles, be sure to avoid anything like street lights, signals, traffic signs, etc.

What I would strongly recommend - since you are new to the area, and the fact that you don't know real traffic until you visit Atlanta!!!

I grew up on the Cape, and in the summer time it's actually easier and more direct to get to Martha's Vineyard than to most areas on the Cape, due to bridge, traffic and lack of ports.

That is an excellent idea, make a video of you diagnosing and fixing it and put on your YouTube channel, don't forget to put in keywords like apartment rental (Your city), etc to help bring you traffic.
