Undoubtedly, others will trot out Don Campbell and the RIEN network (though many like his publications and organisation, I'm find them a little too sales oriented).I would suggest Douglas Gray's "The Canadian Landlord's Guide: Expert Advice for the Profitable Real Estate Investor" as a good primer. 

I'm pretty sure he thought that building US style subdivisions with wood framing would revolutionize the Greek real estate market.  

I had  made an offer on an 8 unit  townhome-style building.

Office and retail are business oriented and relies heavily on macro and local economies.  

My purchase price was 260k for 1920’s style bungalo.

They are putting up large Resort Style places with pools, volleyball, BBQ areas, etc, etc.

Don’t hire a property manager until you have you nailed down your own management style.

Are you using commercial to refer to business-style properties (office, storefronts, etc) while reserving multifamily to refer to 5+ unit residential? 

Generally do a shaker style as it's the most timeless.
