Does anyone have a workaround for this, or do we as investors just have to make a choice now between anonymity/privacy and better interest rates?

I have heard best not to list yourself if you are seeking anonymity. 

But more so, you like to just make anonymous rude comments online without being able to back them up. 

The whole point of a land trust is to provide anonymity.

The operating company takes on all of the liability that would otherwise blow back on you including: paying property management, paying contractors, collecting rent, marketing, etc.5th pillar is owning everything anonymously.

hah...I mean, at least when I tried to make millions as an *Anonymous* Distributor in '91, I was able to sell some cleaning products, diapers, and one fake Christmas tree before realizing I had joined a multi-level marketing cult!
