You could write for use and occupancy on the receipt and i believe this prevents you from having to start the process all over again but she does not have a track record where i feel that you can risk taking a chance with her, cut your losses and run.

I am only familiar with the thermocoupler, which i thought only sensed a cold element therefore preventing gas from flowing with a pilot light out, but when these things fail, can they do so on the hot side?

So, if you plan is to use the cash flow for some other purpose, shortening the loan term will prevent you from doing that plan.
