timeshare is NOT an Investment on any level.. any one telling you that it is well not sure why they would.Now if you can buy them USED for very cheap them re market them and make a few bucks I see that.But walking into a Hilton Grand vacation setup and buying from the developer and thinking that is an investment that's not the case..I know many that own them I have owned one.. its a forced vacation at best. but if you buy one were you go multiple times a year it can be a savings over rack rates , really depends on your job and vacation schedule

The "newer" vinyl windows which had replaced the original wooden living room windows never did come clean.We then BIN'ed the entire main floor (including the exposed studs) and primed the remainder of the house (kitchen was taken back to the drywall for new cabinetry).

It is a little nerve racking to think about borrowing someone else's money for the first time but I am also aware that this is a common thing for REI to do, figure that I better get my feet wet now instead of sitting on the sideline and dragging my feet any longer.I am thinking that my best course of action is to hunt down properties that are turnkey or just need small cosmetic updates, pay for them with cash from the private/hard money then refinance them in 6 months or a year (whatever the seasoning period may be) with a DSCR lender.
