Some of the things that aren't as necessary for a STR but very important for a MTR:Washer and dryer, obvious reasonsDresser drawers so guests don't have to live out of their luggage Fully stocked kitchen since they'll be more likely to cook mealsLocal recommendations that locals use rather than tourist spots

We have million dollar homes in our little neighborhood and it's a very walkable tourist hot spot. 

Less tourists means less workers needed and also means less housing for those workers. 

Basically, they suggest leasing a property for the long term and then renting it out on a short-term basis to travelers, tourists, or even friends.

The great thing about Chattanooga is there are plenty of places to buy that are convenient to tourist destinations while being outside those areas with current restrictions!  

The city has long been a regional tourist destination with the Guadalupe River and the Schlitterbahn waterpark.

Mackinac Island is Michigans # 1 tourist destination and a Top 10 Island in the United States.

i find the 2-3× rent a fantasy for the most part.i make more converting to high cost furnished rentals,  adjusted for str additional costs, than as a str in a popular tourist town

There's no supply in the horizon (outside of some townhomes), the parks are packed 24/7, and that's just with US tourists, and the amount of demand is insane.

Essentially the property has to be on the east side of A1A (oceanfront) or in the Daytona Beach Tourist district (small area).
