Most STR hosts just team up with a local vender and offer a discount to guests, then they can just rent a golf cart from a company that is set up for it.

Spend $10 on due diligence before giving someone $10,000.Well it seems you have the education side of his business that was beneficial to many of you guys on BP as I have heard over the years endorsements or just statements that folks learned from his class's and his class's were more reasonably priced not like the 50k guru packages. then it appears he set up some funds and those are what have gone wonky.. ??

Common fees will include a set-up fee, a leasing fee for each turnover or a lease renewal fee, marking up maintenance, retaining late fees, and more.

Just get setup with various ways like that and you will be fine.

My partner and I are unmarried and have set up an LLC with each of us as 50% members.

If you plan on keeping the property, all you need is an LLC which you would be the sole member of, unless he wants to be in it too, so share all those set up expenses, ask him..

I'd much prefer to have such a group set up on BP.  

Go to your bank and ask for instructions for your tenant to set up direct deposit into your account.
