My question is this, what marketing strategies have worked the best for agents on here and which ones did not work so well? 

It was sitting on Hubzu like a piece of ripe fruit. 

Easier Fruit to pick.

I would not bother with the court steps in this area unless you go in the outter areas around Roanoke, lots of collusion going on in this area with other investors corrupting the systemYou will be much better served working with an investor that will do driving for dollars, direct mail or probate leads at the court houseIn our experience most all investors are always looking for the low hanging fruit Good luck

Find a location where you want to invest first, then look for agencies, brokers, PMs etc in that area to help you out, but ask them good questions.
