Do I estimate it solely based on the exterior condition of the property (assuming the exterior condition is a good indicator of the interior condition)?

Looking for some insight from experienced STR's about whether or not guests would be turned off by the presence of exterior security cameras (definitely nothing inside the house - except inside the garage which likely would not be accessible to renters - debating that).

If you'll need to do any carpentry work to level the floors guaranteed, you'll need to pull a permit.From my experience, the city of San Francisco is pretty strict, and if you bought a historical house, any exterior renovation might involve speaking with the planning department to keep the house "Historical".
