The investment projects with purchase &rehab these days are typically $70K - $100K with a finished retailvalue of $130K - $150K.

Very basic finishing with cement block parging.

Price vs taxes/insurance vs rents attainable ?

I have a rental property in Portland with a finished basement - I managed the remodel myself, everything is up to code, and it was completed in May 2022. 

Hi all,I am currently house hunting for my first home in the Aurora, CO area and am interested in finding something with a finished basement that I could create a separate entrance for (assuming one doesn't already exist) and rent it out to tenants and make a dent in the mortgage payment given this high interest rate environment.

I don't know of any banks any more that will do a construction loan on investment properties based on completed value (i.e the finished value with the built in equity).

By the time they finish building it anyways the property values will have likely doubled at the rate we are going down here... and a new vacation home is never a bad thing lol

If I buy house for investment i run the numbers and everything look good but and its a big but... the house on flood zone from 1-10 he at 9 now let me make it clear its not a lake or something close to it city close to downtown chiago not lake around it very metropolitan area.. but flood zone 9 so i know its can be a big factor when i want to riff after i finish my renove there and want to take my money back 75% i know also the insurance van be factor with the price i can pay every month.. so if some have idea or experience with this subject the house located  oak park Illinois.. 

Looking to take out equity to finish renovations on unit #4. $4800 cash flow is projected when the final 2 units are rented.
