Hi everyone,I've been listening to BP podcasts for 1.5 years now and just recently started browsing forums so I'd figure I'd introduce myself.For the past 2 years I've been working as a commercial real estate underwriter/portfolio manager for a private bank in Manhattan, NY so I have a bit of background in the CRE side.  

This Deal Diaries section is really fun to browse and read all of your awesome stories, but blogs have a little more meat to them, which is why I chose that method.

I have been listening to podcasts, reading books, browsing forums, watching YouTube videos, looking at listing and running numbers.

Some of the most straightforward sites to browse are www.Hudhomestore.com, www.homepath.com, and https://listings.vrmco.com/. 

But as I was browsing Zillow I noted some properties that were put up for rent were sitting vacant for months on end.

I have been there before, but never took the time to browse through all the info on there.I will just keep on protesting.

We are not interested in moving our family (our home is provided by my husband's employer and is in a better area than we could afford and larger than the duplex I have in mind to buy).In browsing this forum, it seems others have succeeded where I'm hitting a brick way.
