Starting investing in real estate as a College Student

Hello BP community,

I am wanting to start getting in to real estate. I have been listening to podcasts, reading books, browsing forums, watching YouTube videos, looking at listing and running numbers. I don’t want to do anything without doing the proper research first. However, from what I can gather from most if not all of those sources, it seems that very few people have tried home-hacking while a student in college (I will be a sophomore this fall). Does anyone have any experience trying home-hacking as a student? Or if not, do you have tips in general that could help?
