We have a guest speaker each month.

When I was first getting involved in real estate investing, the "Ask the Pros" seminars held just before the main event speaker were a great way to get real life answers to your questions.

Another category of this is folks disconnecting smart speakers, but that's somewhat understandable and I've gotten ahead of it by ensuring there's prominent instructions on what privacy settings are on and how to do turn off the microphones manually without having to unplug the speaker itself.

There will generally be a guest speaker at these meetups, who offer their thoughts on various different topics regarding real estate investing.

Tyron,I've been a part of a group here in the city for the last couple years called OREIO (Ottawa Real Estate Investor's Organization) they meet once a month and bring in guest speakers from all over. 

The plan is to have two speakers, one who has used 1031's to scale their wealth or at least have used it, followed by an actual qualified intermediary to assist in conducting them.   

My guest speaker bailed on me last minute so I am going to give some good market updates and insight into both local/national market metrics and we are going to do some member introductions and deal analysis.
