With that said I've been seeing a lot of grievances with wholesalers and that portion of the industry in general. so much so that Philadelphia, and other cities have passed legislation against wholesaling. 

The US is exceptionally landlord friendly, whereas most jurisdictions in Canada favour the tenant in legislation. 

If you can't figure out who to contact perhaps contact whoever the local county legislator is.

Many attorneys don't know crap, and will practice/learn on your dollar.I've read many articles from the attorneys below,  and believe they are seriousabout staying up to date with recent legislation.

If the general public sees us as neutral "housing providers" instead of evil landlords they may be less willing to vote in legislation which ultimately attempts to control our rights.

There is a 26% tax credit when solar panels are installed this year, but that credit goes down to 22% next year, and goes away completely after that unless legislation changes soon. 

Maybe not an issue in your case, but my point is being an owner operator can be protection if STR legislation is passed. 

Then it has to go through the normal county legislative review process.

The familial change would actually be covered by fair housing legislation, though even if it weren't I would still allow the addition as a normal change in life circumstance.  

So there is no way to say for sure, especially in light of Government legislative help that might come along.Just my 2 Cents.
