At the time of social media, it's through word of mouth and, if the country was such a bad place (I know that's not what you think or wrote) and this kind of "incidents" were the rule, it'd be known very quickly and people would stop to go.The problem often comes from the too high expectations of people who forget that Colombia is still an emerging country (and I'm not suggesting this is your case).

Aloha,Any competent PM should be providing you with monthly financial reports showing all income and expenses, and including copies of invoices paid during the reporting month.If they are making repairs with their own, in-house staff, I would require itemized receipts for materials and separate hourly labor charges.Your Management Agreement should also have a per incident limit, which they cannot exceed without your approval, except to protect life or property.
