Although, I'm not a afraid of much, there are things that disturb me, and I don't feel there are reasons to take risks I deem unnecessary.  

There's also bioluminescence here part of the year, where the water glows when it is disturbed. 

I feel bad about them disturbing the neighbors but at the same time, they are actually great tenants, easy to communicate, take care the property and always pay rent on time.But now, we will be moving into one of units ourself and likely we will be annoyed by this type of activities as well.There is nothing on the current lease that I can use to ask them not to have parties or limit their use of backyard.What are my options?

You as the landlord will still have the right to give them a 3 day notice if they are in breach of the lease agreement for being a disturbance to the right to peaceful enjoyment of the property or if they have trash piling up outside, etc.

You will be able to offer private entrance without disturbing your primary residence.  

@Robin Searle In my area the pressure to limit STR is coming from local communities that have had to deal with noise, crime, and other disturbances from bad tenants.

Or you can put on this switch cover but my switches this would probably not fit without disturbing operation of the other switch.
