If you put yourself in the rational consumer’s shoes, you would consider the total cost of each of the following housing options:A) a monthly mortgage payment + utilities + insurance + taxes on a single family home that you buyB) a monthly rental payment + utilities on a 3 bedroom single family home that you rent C) a monthly rental payment + lot rent + utilities on a 3 bedroom mobile home rental that you rent D) a monthly mortgage payment + lot rent + utilities + insurance + taxes on a 3 bedroom mobile home that you own (own the home and rent the land)A deal breaker for me is a situation where there’s <$200 spread between options A/B and C/D.

To purchase the cost will consume a lot of the rent.

Do you have an opinion on the consumer protection issues related to wholesaling...consumer with a 6th grade education works for 30-years, pays off her mortgage and hasn't a clue about the power of equity in her home...in comes a wholesaler promising the world and negotiating away the equity she has built up....seems to me the Attorney General's would want to take this on at some point...

If it's a small business owner, get the consumer credit reports as well, either Transunion or thru Cozy who in turn gets it from the credit bureaus.

Obtaining a license is expensive and time consuming.

My last look at Consumer Reports had Bosch taking the top 3 out of 5 spots (if I remember correctly).

They will also consume so much more electricity i will shock you.
