For me I start at 4 to 5 in the morning. because of all my east coast investments.. by 10am it calms down as they are at lunch. then I go the bank and notarize my deeds on properties I am selling that day and then wire out funds for the new buys that day.. then off I go for a quick bite then drive around Portland looking at my houses here I am building... and get home bout 3 ish then work out. and finally relax about 5.. pickup evening e mails and call it a day about 8pm  and I do this many times ( except for the banking part ) 7 days a week...

But seriously, if you can stay calm, power through it, and can cash out some of your investment (low or high) and break even with the rent maybe you can get some good returns/appreciation over time.
