Its just kind of the nature of the beast and investing were over 50% of all homes are rentals its a different lifestyle than what we are used to at least on the west coast were maybe 10% of SFR's are rentals  renters rent apartments.

I know I already mentioned this, but @Mordy Chaimovitz...If you can get by with lower cash flow and invest for the long-term generational wealth (aka appreciation) in nice neighborhoods, that is the way to go, but it's tough to get by at times -- at least it is for me.Just know everyone's situation is different, and you should do what is best for your specific circumstances!

I'll throw in my 2 cents on common differences I've seen in my career:CDFIs - Because of their subsidized financing structure, they have the ability to be a low cost lender (and sometimes provide grants).
