I journal everyday in the current positive, and am on this site everyday, learning a lot,,,,unfortunately, I have never had a mentor, and  I didn't do these things when I was younger, so now I am playing catch up.

While Downtown Jersey City is expensive, Journal Square area is moderately priced and the Greenville area is lower-priced as it is challenging/up-and-coming.

Define you business model/strategy:Investigate: local business journals and city websites will tell you news about upcoming developments and businesses moving you (get in before the development is done) , driving around, seeing where business are going in. 

Love to read the Atlanta Journal stories on line especially "the wire' forum when I was watching that.

Forbes magazine declared Pittsburgh #1 for cash flow and the Wall Street Journal had us at #2 or I may have that backwards. 

Another popular index is the Prime rate published in the WaLL Street Journal.
