I use Century 21 Prestige Reality as my property manager.

They experienced a six week 'hiccup', instead of the multi-year economic nosedive which was routine last century.

Many older, turn of the century houses were not even built with them and many people wrongly assume that a room without a closet won't qualify a bedroom.

I’m also a real estate agent with Century 21 Clemens Group based in Rocky Hill and Glastonbury and I also grew up in property investment (flipping, then buy-and-hold).

The home is a mid century modern home 1973 Home is now smart and modern, and very updated.  

Obviously the rent is not going to increase like this every year, but neighborhood scout has San Diego appreciation as 10 of 10 for this century and there is a correlation between property appreciation and rent growth.  

A client of ours also has properties up there, but their PMC is a mom & pop that while honest, is lacking 21st Century tools:(

Maybe they have the deal of the century, and if so, great. 

There is a ton of information on this site; literally centuries of accumulated experience and there's no hope of even trying to summarize that here.  

But since most of our tenants are under the age of 90 they would probably prefer a 21st Century solution.
